A leaf from the tree
Fell
in the lake
Bell
shaped flowers
Dwell
Vibrant, preserved
Well
Ripples spread across.
And in the winter
Freeze
The lake; flowers
Squeeze
Devoid; accompanying
Bees
When Northerly cold
breeze
Shook the tree gently, again
A leaf from the tree
Fell
in the lake
Bell
shaped flowers
Dwell
Fozen, Frosted
Unwell
No Ripples spread across.

I agree with Mike. Frosty imagery and awesome poetry go a long way during this miserable heat wave. Thank you!

Oh! Thank you Rosema! 🙂 I am lagging behind.. I had hoped to cover two-three words this weekend, but my friends got me into partying these two days! 😛

Wow, such lovely scene so beautifully written. Ah, I’ve been reading winter-themed pieces lately. Plus winter has come in the Game of Thrones. These make me wish we have a taste of winter here in PH.
