WordPress, Why ye disappear my words?

Dear WordPress why ye disappear

Words I etched with stones so clear

It’s not sound it’s not fair

My words you dissolve in thin air

Long a spell away from home

Reading blogs along I roam

Express when I of love and care

My words you dissolve in thin air

Kins and comrades figures in space

jovial familiar charming grace

Friendly pleasantries when I share

My words you dissolve in thin air

And when with mirth a friendly note

Came and quick I neatly wrote

Back and then I saw nowhere

My words you dissolved in thin air.

(PS: For a long time, the office works clogged me from returning to blogging. But I used to roam around and read blogs. Unfortunately, some of my comments disappeared immediately after I posted on someone’s post. Sometimes it stayed and that was fine. But the disappearing comments made me crestfallen. I still find the ailment persisting in WordPress. It is disappointing.)

      • My writing projects are on hold as I have had many personal hurdles to jump this spring, but I am working toward getting my rhythm back — and certainly will be poised to write like crazy for NaNoWriMo in November. Did you do a Recycled Reads this year? I’m plowing through my reading, but haven’t been good about writing about the books I’ve read. Always more to do than I have time for πŸ˜‰ Hope to *see* you more!!! Good Luck on getting your writing time in too πŸ™‚

        • Glad to know you are looking forward to NaNoWriMo. And I am pleased to see you being host to 100 Word Wednesday. πŸ™‚ I see it is going on wonderful! I too have been missing regular writing. My job takes away so much of my time. I keep roaming on WordPress and reading around. I have been postponing Recycled Read for too long now. I am looking forward to get more stability with my timing in coming months. πŸ˜‡

          • I know what you mean — that’s why, in part, I started hosting the challenge: a forcing function to write and read a bit every week. We’ve got a great group of writers who are, by and large, uplifting or evocative — not a lot of dark overtones, which is good as I don’t have the headspace for that now πŸ˜‰ Drop by and join us sometime if you are feeling it! I wish you luck in your scheduling — but living life is great too πŸ™‚

  2. This is no good. I’m not sure, but if you’re talking about WP comments, you aren’t the only one. I just read another post from a fellow blogger whose comments are disappearing as well. Hmmmmm… wonder whats causing this??
